How long have you been surfing?
I grew up landlocked, living in Essex and started surfing on my school holidays. I soon fell in love with surfing and aged 11 I finally convinced my parents to buy my first surfboard. Many weekends and school holidays where then spent on the beaches of Cornwall and every other summer we would head to South West France and Spain surfing.
Surfing soon became all I would think about. I dreamed about living closer to the beaches and at 19 I packed my bags and moved to the South West. I surf every day and love to travel in search of waves.
First Surfboard?
My first surfboard belonged to professional surfer Shane Powell. I cant remember the dimensions but it had been snapped and repaired. I loved that board and spent a couple years surfing it until I downsized to something smaller.
Notable Surf Trips?
Traveling is something I love to do. Its not just about the waves, its about the adventure of surfing new places. I have made three trips to Iceland in recent years surfing the frozen north, the South and West Coasts. Searching for waves amongst snow capped mountains and glaciers with lumps of ice the size of small cars washed up on the beaches. Surfing has taken me to some unique and wonderful places.

Current Equipment?
My go to board is 6,2 (35-36 ltrs) Being one of the bigger guys in the line up, my boards need plenty of volume. I have a 6,0 (35 ltrs) fish for smaller waves. I also a 6,8 (38 ltrs) step up board for the larger days.
Any final thoughts, inspirational quotes ect?
Fill your life with adventures, not things. Have stories to tell, not things to show.
