One of my first jobs in the surf industry was working for carve and surf girl magazines. Tassy Swallow was one of the names you would always hear being talked about. Growing up and still living in the St Ives area, Tass had a variety of great surf on her doorstep and her surfing and competition results benefited from this natural playground. Fast forward a few years she’s still a good friend, we don’t surf together but occasionally pass each other as we are rushing in or out of the surf in between our parent duties. A great surfer, a great mum, and a great person to have on any surf trip, we are so proud to be supporting Tass and have her join our team.
“Since my early teens, getting into surfing professionally and the path it’s lead me along has been an absolute joy and something I’ll be forever grateful for pursuing. Supported by some great surf brands along the way, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to travel all over the world from a young age, competing and pursuing that dream to surf professionally.
In my teens I competed internationally, proudly representing Cornwall and coming home with some rankings I can be proud of.
Since reaching my 20’s and 30’s, coaching became a real passion of mine and passing on some knowledge and experience to the younger generation.
This year having had my first baby - Rocket - I’m excited to pass down and share some of that fire and stoke with him too. It’s a feeling of Love like no other and I’m really excited to share some snapshots of our shared adventures along the way!”
