Introducing Kieron Smith

Here at firstmasonicdistrict we always want to do as much as we can to give a little bit back to the local community who have supported us so well over the past year. This is why we have started our shop team, and we are super stoked to announce our first team rider.

Not only is he a super nice kid. He already surfs better than all of us, and did i mention he is only 13. Over to you Kieron..

Hi my name is Kieron. I'm a 13 year old who loves to surf and skate. I am a team rider for Mangosurf for which I am so stoked.
I am from a village called wembury on the South Devon coast near Plymouth. The surf can get good at Wembury but there are more consistent spots near by.

I started surfing when I was 7 years old and got my first shortboard when I was 8. I love competing in the uk surf comps, my best surfing competition result was the 2016 British nationals where I came 1st in the u12s. In 2017 I took part in the u14s Uk pro surf tour and came 3rd over over all from participating in all 4 junior events. From this result I have been selected for the 2018 under 14 English Team.

I won the British nationals on a board my dad made me, which was a very light epoxy 4’7 x 17x 1.9. I now ride a 5’ x 16.5 x 1.9

My other interests include guitar, piano and basketball, football and am a black belt in Taekwondo. I like to keep busy but do my best to put my education first.

We are really stoked to be working with Kieron, and you will be seeing a lot more from him in the next few months. Keep it up grom!
